Not a bug report but rather an inquiry. Recently I migrated to nss-pam-ldapd from pam-ldap under Gentoo. On a given VM which I believe is properly configured with nss-pam-ldapd, when I run "getent passwd user1"given that "user1" is only defined in the ldap, the command returns a single row with details from the ldap (Great!). When I run "getent passwd user2" given "user2" is both define as a local account and also defined in the ldap, the command only returns one row with the details from the local passwd file. Is this the correct behavior? I would expect the latter command to return two rows in this case (ldap + passwd), if so I am not clear on what nss-pam-ldapd configuration option is required to achieve the expected result.
Thanks.
