Release 2.0 of python-stdnum has been made available.
Since this is the first release to drop support for Python 2 (actually
anything before Python 3.8) and includes type hints a major version
bump was in order. If you really need support for older Python
versions, drop me a note.
This release includes a few new number formats (Belgian eID number,
Belgian SSN, Spanish CAE, Indonesian NIK, ISNI, Japanese IN, Dutch
passport number and Russian Primary State Registration Number) but also
contains a number of fixes and other cleanups.
The software and related information can be found at:

Development of the library is ongoing and contributions and suggestions
are more than welcome. Please direct questions, comments, additions,
suggestions, etc to python-stdnum-users@lists.arthurdejong.org or use
Github.
