definable dns URI

Hi all.

is there a way to define the URI which should be used for srv record 
lookups?

In the man page, I just found the option to set uri DNS, but no way to 
describe which domain should be queried. It seems to query the host's 
domain, which is not the domain where our ldap servers are located.
