No I think in Solaris 11 if you have no innetgr constructor then innetgr requests will not be passed to your library. There is no getnetgrent fallback like there is in Linux. When I issue an innetgr command, the NSS library sees nothing.
DBIS has an innetgr function built-in so I'm going to have to look into extending the NSS library next week to pass through the innetgr command unedited.
