Hi, I have SSHD is running in virtual box centos 7. We are using $rhost parameter in pam_authz_search, to get the ipaddress of the remote host. When I am connected to LAN in my desk I get the ipaddress (ip=192.168.56.26). But when connecting
my laptop at different location and I get hostname in $rhost(ip=alb1212.rnet.com).So because of which I am not able to do IP validation. Could provide your inputs suggestions or directions to resolve this issue. Following is the configuration in nslcd.conf uri ldap://192.168.56.101:10389 filter passwd (uid=*) pam_authz_search (&(uid=$username)(ip=$rhost)(tty=$tty)) Thanks, Prem ---------------------------------------- The information contained in this e-mail message is intended only for the personal and confidential use of the recipient(s) named above.
