Re: Request addition of formats

Hi Pierre,

Tryton maintainer here, but also contributor of python-stdnum ;-)

It will be great to add such identifiers on python-stdnum and latter on Tryton to be able to have such identifiers for all of our users.

Did you have technical knowledge to create a pull request into our github repository? If yes please go ahead a create one so we can include it on our new release. Here is the link for the repository:

https://github.com/arthurdejong/python-stdnum/

It will be good to know if there is some other validation that the lenght of the number. For example in Spain we have a check digit which is computed using the other digits. If it is the same mechanism for Haiti we need to include on the library to ensure all the numbers are right.
Also it will be great to have some valid and invalid numbers as example so we can test that our implementation works well.

Feel free to ask any other doubts that may raise.

Cheers!

Hello,

I congratulate you for validating and reformatting standard numbers and codes in different formats.

I implement tryton and gnuhealth, both use Python library named python-stdnum. When I verify in this link: https://arthurdejong.org/python-stdnum/formats, NINU (Numéro d'Identification Nationale Unique, Haitian Unique National Identification Number) and NIF (Numéro d'Identification Fiscale, Haitian tax identification number) don't include.

I would like to you add NINU and NIF for Haiti in the list please.

Sincerly yours,
