Release 1.4 of python-stdnum has been made available.
This release includes a number of new number formats (French tax
identification number, French personal identification number, French
company establishment identification number, UK National Health Service
patient identifier and Turkish personal identification number). This
release also brings the implementation of the Damm algorithm and a few
other small improvements.
The software and related information can be found at:

Development of the library is ongoing and contributions and suggestions
are more than welcome. Please direct questions, comments, additions,
suggestions, etc to the mailing list:
python-stdnum-users@lists.arthurdejong.org
or use Github.
On a related not, a while ago an online check was implemented that uses
python-stdnum to "guess" the number format for a supplied number, see
https://arthurdejong.org/python-stdnum/check/
